Travelport Code of Business Conduct and Ethics
Message from Senior Leadership Team
Dear Travelport Colleague:
At Travelport we have a guiding philosophy, “how we do things is as important as what we do.” This principle gives us an ethical ‘signpost’, helping to guide us all through our daily activities – following the law is a given – the true test of an organization is how we deal with the sometimes more ambiguous ethical decisions that we may face.
This booklet and the guidance it contains is the ethical cornerstone of our business and helps each of us, as members of the Travelport family, understand what the company expects of us and grow a business of which we can all feel proud.
Working ethically and openly is fundamental to our success. Integrity and sustainable business go hand-in-hand. One of our responsibilities, as the Travelport senior leadership team, is to foster a culture that inspires and empowers every employee to do the right thing – even when that’s not the easy option.
We all need to follow our own inbuilt judgment – our inner ‘ethical compass’ – and to speak out when something just doesn’t seem right. You can be confident that any issues you bring to our attention will be resolved, and any concerns you raise in good faith will be taken seriously, without any fear of retaliation.
Whatever role you play in the company, when it comes to ethics, it’s the responsibility of each and every one of us to take the lead. Being a good ethical leader means three things: recognizing the principles upon which our Travelport Code of Business Conduct & Ethics is based: integrity, honesty, fairness and respect; making good decisions based on these principles; and demonstrating these principles in what you say and what you do.
Let your ethical compass be your guide and feel comfortable to ask for directions on the ethical journey we all take together every day.
Sincerely,
Gordon Wilson
