Travelport’s Executive Team is intensely focused on growing our leadership role in the advancement of the global travel industry, from a strong foundation of corporate values, ethics and social responsibility. Our Executive Team is comprised of some of the most tenured and widely respected leaders in our industry.
Our distinguished Board of Directors represents leaders from many sectors of the global travel and financial industries. They consult with our executives to help guide the work, direction and success of Travelport and its interests worldwide.
Simon Nowroz
President & Managing Director, Asia Pacific
Simon Nowroz was appointed President and Managing Director, Asia Pacific in September 2009 and is a key member of Travelport’s senior management team. He is responsible for the commercial operations for Travelport GDS in the Asia Pacific region that includes identifying strategic opportunities for the company, growing revenues, market share and driving new business.
Prior to this role, Simon was Managing Director, Asia responsible for Travelport’s wholly owned operations in Hong Kong, Singapore, China, Taiwan, Malaysia and the Philippines. He also worked closely with Travelport distributors in countries that include India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand and Bangladesh.
Simon has also held senior roles in Sales & Marketing for Cendant TDS, a company that Travelport acquired in 2006. In those roles, he was responsible for expanding Travelport’s wholly owned operations, working with customers and establishing new products and services. Simon joined Cendant TDS in 2003 working on global partnerships.
Simon's travel sector experience includes posts with British Midland Airways, where he held sales and marketing roles, and two years with Budget Rent a Car, where he led the commercial and partnership marketing functions for Budget’s Europe & Middle East operations. He later headed the travel and transport consulting practice of Computer Science Corporation (CSC), a multinational IT services company.
Simon is based in Hong Kong with his family.
Shelley Beasley
Managing Director, Pacific and Head of Solutions and Support, Asia Pacific
Shelley Beasley is Travelport’s Managing Director for the Pacific and Head of Solutions and Support for Asia Pacific.
As Managing Director, Pacific, she has overall fiscal responsibility for agency partner channels in Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific Islands, Japan and Korea. She oversees relationships with Travelport’s customers including travel agencies, third party suppliers and airline partners.
In her Asia Pacific role, Shelley is responsible for Travelport’s customer service and technical operations, Travelport’s online travel agency customers (OTAs), third party suppliers and key travel products.
Shelley has held a number of other key roles within Travelport, including Director of Sales and Country Manager. She also worked with the company for three years in the USA, where she was employed as a Strategic Account Manager and Regional Director of Sales and has held various positions within United Airlines.
Shelley holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Communication from the University of Richmond, Richmond, VA and is nearing completion of her Masters in International Business.
She resides in Auckland, New Zealand and is married with two sons.
Sean Cummins
Country Manager, Australia and New Zealand
Sean Cummins is Country Manager for Australia and New Zealand. He is responsible for Travelport’s commercial operations in this region, which includes managing existing customer relationships, identifying new business development opportunities and growing market share. Prior to this role, Sean held senior positions at the AOT Group, Hotelclub, Amadeus, Constellation Hotel Group and spent five years with Galileo (now Travelport) in the Nineties. Sean holds a Bachelor in Business Management, majoring in Accounting from the University of Technology Sydney.
