Jason Ong

Jason Ong was appointed the Malaysia Country Manager for Travelport in December 2010 following more than 13 year’s experience in technology, travel and business solutions in the Asia Pacific region.
Prior to joining Travelport, Ong was employed for five years at the Kuala Lumpur headquarters of Getronics Solutions, specialists in Information and Communication Technology (ICT). As their Regional Alliance Manager for Dell Alliance Asia Pacific Japan, he oversaw sales and business development within the region while strategically planning, developing and maintaining relationships with Dell stakeholders across all levels.
Ong’s background experience also includes NCR (Malaysia) where he was employed as a Services Sales Consultant and Ericsson Global IT Services (Asia Pacific) as an Account Manager - Customer Relations. He also worked with Dell Asia Pacific as a Product Manager and was an Account Manager with IB Systems.
Ong has a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Management and Marketing from Curtin University of Technology in Perth, Australia. He reports to Hui Wan Chua, Regional Director for South East Asia, Travelport.
