Singapore's Country Management
Simon Nowroz
President & Managing Director, Asia Pacific
Simon Nowroz was appointed President and Managing Director, Asia Pacific in September 2009 and is a key member of Travelport’s senior management team. He is responsible for the commercial operations for Travelport GDS in the Asia Pacific region that includes identifying strategic opportunities for the company, growing revenues, market share and driving new business.
Prior to this role, Simon was Managing Director, Asia responsible for Travelport’s wholly owned operations in Hong Kong, Singapore, China, Taiwan, Malaysia and the Philippines. He also worked closely with Travelport distributors in countries that include India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand and Bangladesh.
Simon has also held senior roles in Sales & Marketing for Cendant TDS, a company that Travelport acquired in 2006. In those roles, he was responsible for expanding Travelport’s wholly owned operations, working with customers and establishing new products and services. Simon joined Cendant TDS in 2003 working on global partnerships.
Simon's travel sector experience includes posts with British Midland Airways, where he held sales and marketing roles, and two years with Budget Rent a Car, where he led the commercial and partnership marketing functions for Budget’s Europe & Middle East operations. He later headed the travel and transport consulting practice of Computer Science Corporation (CSC), a multinational IT services company.
Simon is based in Hong Kong with his family.

Chua Hui Wan
Regional Director, Souteast Asia
Chua Hui Wan was appointed Regional Director, Southeast Asia in August 2009. She is responsible for driving the Subscriber and Supplier business strategy and operations within the Southeast Asia region that includes the performance of Travelport operations in Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines as well as manage the distributor markets of Indonesia and Papua New Guinea. Hui Wan reports to Simon Nowroz, President and Managing Director Asia Pacific and is a key member of the Asia Pacific management team.
Prior to her appointment as Regional Director, Hui Wan held the position of Director Airline Services. In this role, she was instrumental in managing airline relationships in Asia with a key focus on retaining and increasing airline content available through Travelport’s global distribution systems (GDS).
Before joining Travelport, Hui Wan spent 11 years with Abacus. At Abacus, she was responsible for managing business development initiatives for both airlines and travel agency subscribers, including sales and marketing support for customers in six countries in the Southwest Asia and Indo China regions. She was also responsible for managing Abacus distributorship relationships, and additional roles included oversight of various product lines, including the net fare distribution group.
Hui Wan joined Travelport in 2005 and is based in Singapore.

Carole Oh
Country Manager, SinaporeCarole Oh was appointed Country Manager, Singapore in January 2010 and is responsible for the commercial operations of Travelport in Singapore. She brings a wealth of GDS experience to this role and leads a team of sales, IT and customer support professionals.
Oh joined Travelport in 2006 as Business Development Director in Travelport’s Airline Services team. She was responsible for airline relationships in Greater China, Vietnam and Malaysia. During this time, she was instrumental in driving and concluding distribution deals with major PRC carriers including Air China, China Southern, China Eastern, Xiamen Airlines in addition to contract renewals with Cathay Pacific and China Airlines. She was also part of a team that re-signed and upgraded the RSS web feed with the PRC’s CRS, Travelsky.
Oh has 17 years of business development experience that in addition to travel distribution includes a number of years spent in telecommunications and media industries.
Prior to joining Travelport, Oh spent seven years working for a regional GDS. She held a number of different portfolios including airline management, product marketing and subscriber business. Her years of managing subscriber business allowed her to focus on a number of markets including Australia, Malaysia and Indochina.
Carole is based in Singapore.
