Langley, UK,
29.04.2008
Travelport GDS, one of the world’s leading providers of global distribution systems (GDS), has today announced details of a new, long-term, global agreement between its Galileo GDS and Hogg Robinson Group (HRG). The new agreement will, for the first time, extend Galileo’s current international GDS contract with HRG to include the USA – the world’s largest GDS market in terms of segment volume.
Galileo has been working with HRG for a number of years across multiple markets and the two businesses are currently developing a number of new market initiatives.
“We already have a strong and successful track record of working closely with HRG across the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and AsPac (Asia Pacific) regions. We’re delighted HRG has now chosen us as one of its global GDS partner,” says Sandra McLeod, Vice President, Global Accounts and Strategic Corporate Development, Travelport GDS. It very much cements the strong relationship we have developed with this important customer over the years.”
