The Intern Learning & Development Program is broad in scope and comprises three parts
The first is a series of monthly workshops ran by the Talent Development team, covering a range of topics including presentation skills, goal setting, communication and building your personal brand. They are designed to support the interns in their specific roles, by creating an environment where they can practice their learnings and share insights with the whole group. Not only are the skills gained from these workshops great for maximizing the placement year experience but are also useful for final year studies and future job roles.
You will also have monthly sessions with various Travelport Leaders including our CEO, CFO & Chief HR Officer. These are unique and interesting opportunities to get up close and personal with some of our best people and learn all about their professional lives and career paths. These meetings are also beneficial in helping you understand about Travelport and how it operates as a business.
Travelport is a truly global business. To elevate and help you experience this, we encourage regular collaboration with our internationally based interns. Last year there were regular interactive sessions between our UK, Ireland & US interns in the form of ‘Lunch & Learns’, & “A Day in the Life Of..” These proved to be very popular and as they are yours to own, they are sure to evolve and enhance with each new intern cohort.
