As a Regional Propositions Manager at Travelport, you can thrive in the exciting world of Travel Tech.
Role & Team
You will come on board at a truly exciting time and as a member of the Global Propositions team. You will play a pivotal and crucial part as the senior and experienced product marketeer responsible for several important inbound and outbound product marketing activities across the Americas region.
The role has four key purposes…

  • Being the owner for the regional segment proposition for the entire geography of the Americas region and in agreement with the commercial leadership team for the region
  • Key interface between Agency Commercial and C&MO Global Product & Proposition teams - through strong understanding of regional strategy and customer requirements; work through the individual items/requirements, apply and convey right prioritization to the delivery teams and measure success on delivery of prioritized requirements.
  • Drive Travelport product & technology adoption in the regions to meet targeted success matrix. Work with relevant internal & external stakeholders in resolving barriers to adoptions.
  • Responsible for clear articulation of our propositions at a regional level – including key regional products & partnerships.

The Regional Propositions Manager position will involve…
Outbound activities

  • Responsible for clear articulation of our propositions at a regional level – including key regional products & partnerships.
  • Sets targets and drives deployment and adoption of Travelport product portfolio in each region (SMO and Operator markets).
  • Point person coordinating product launches in region – including delivering regular briefings / training to sales teams

Inbound activities

  • Understand the regional/country commercial strategy and targets, map out product, solutions and partnership requirements.
  • Plays a key role in triaging product enhancement requests as part of the overall product prioritization process.
  • Runs regular (minimum quarterly) Customer Advisory Boards to provide structured input into global product decisions.

Your background will consist of…
Knowledge, Skills, Experience, Training, Education:

  • 4-year degree; or relative equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience within software product marketing role in a B2B technology business.
  • Strong leadership experience, managing multiple senior stakeholders.
  • Good travel industry sector and market understanding with deep customer insight; strongly preferred.
  • Solutions mind-set with significant experience in driving positive outcomes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced finance, data and analytics skills.
  • Advanced MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel skills are a must.
