Simon Gros is Head of Customer Consultancy, Onboarding, & Optimization. Simon is responsible for upgrading all agency customers to Travelport+, providing an exceptional onboarding experience, and modernizing and simplifying customer support.

Thinking back to your first work trip, where did you go and why?
1998, to Lower Alloways Township, NJ (USA).  I was accompanying my boss, a Member of the US Congress, to the annual muskrat dinner fundraiser for the local fire department. Glamorous!!

Fancy restaurant meal or homecooked comfort food?
Home cooked comfort food. Restaurants are all well and good but it’s never the right temperature!

If I wasn’t a part of the Travelport SLT, I’d be…
Hustling for government consulting clients in Washington, DC.

Simon joined the company in 2008 after serving for six years at the U.S. Department of Transportation, which culminated in him being appointed as the Senate-confirmed Assistant Secretary for Intergovernmental Affairs.

Prior to USDoT, he held a variety of positions in Washington, DC, which included working for Congress. Simon holds a BA from the University of Maryland and a JD from George Mason University.

He lives in Connecticut with his wife and two boys.
