Travel Technology Association
Travelport is a founding board member of the Travel Technology Association (Travel Tech). Travel Tech is a powerful voice for the travel technology industry and the leading advocate for policies that promote innovation in technology, help connect consumers and travel providers, eliminate barriers to travel, and protect the traveling public.
European Technology and Travel Services Association
Travelport is a founding board member of the eu Travel Tech (Formerly known as the European Technology and Travel Services Association). ETTSA was launched in 2009 to represent and promote the interests of global distribution systems (GDSs) and travel distributors, towards the industry, policy-makers, opinion formers, consumer groups and all other relevant European stakeholders. The association, based in Brussels, encourages and supports full transparency, fair competition and consumer choice in the travel distribution chain. In November 2019, ETTSA announced it was changing its name to eu travel tech.
World Travel and Tourism Council
Travelport is a board member of the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC). WTTC advocates on behalf of the industry on a variety global issues affecting travel and tourism, with a special focus on preserving the freedom to travel, ensuring the global business environment is conducive to the growth of travel and tourism, and safeguarding the environment by responsibly managing the growth of the travel and tourism.
American Society of Travel Advisors
Travelport is a member of the American Society of Travel advisors (ASTA). ASTA is the world's largest association of travel professionals. The mission of ASTA is to facilitate the business of selling travel through effective representation, shared knowledge and the enhancement of professionalism. ASTA seeks a retail travel marketplace that is profitable, growing and a rewarding place to work, invest and do business. Founded in 1931 as the American Steamship and Tourist Agents' Association, ASTA and its affiliates now comprise the world's largest and most influential travel trade association with members in 140 countries. As the world's largest travel trade association, ASTA’s work encompasses every aspect of the travel experience.
European Travel Agents’ and Tour Operators’ Associations
Travelport is an allied member of ECTAA, the European Travel Agents’ and Tour Operators’ Associations. ECTAA is the group of national travel agents’ and tour operators’ associations within the EU. It actively cooperates with European Union institutions and international organizations to ensure that members’ interests and special requirements are taken into consideration.
