Jason Toothman is the Global Head of Agency Sales at Travelport, leading sales and account management for agencies and corporations around the world. In his capacity as Global Head of Agency Sales, he leads a team responsible for growing agency and corporate share, generating incremental revenue from sales activities across a variety of channels, and driving innovative technology solutions globally.

Prior to joining Travelport in February 2020, Mr. Toothman was Executive General Manager – Global Airline Distribution at Flight Centre Travel Group Ltd. In that role, he was responsible for creating and executing the company’s strategy related to connecting to airline suppliers and securing the most relevant and important content for consultants to sell worldwide, including New Distribution Capability (“NDC”) across all channels.

Prior to joining Flight Centre, Jason held various senior leadership roles at Sabre during a career spanning more than fifteen years. Mr. Toothman led teams in various departments across a variety of disciplines, serving as Vice President Global Accounts APAC, Vice President North America, and Managing Director Airline Distribution. In his role as VP APAC, Jason was based in Brisbane, Australia, leading agency sales and account management teams that provided solutions and services, including customer relationship marketing, support and accountability for agency customers in the region.

Prior to this role, as Vice President North America, Mr. Toothman led a large regional operation in sales and account management for both GDS and back-office solution sales, customer solutions, sales planning and field effectiveness. Before moving to the agency-facing side of Sabre Travel Network in August of 2010, he had account management responsibility in North America as Managing Director Airline Distribution. In this capacity, Mr. Toothman negotiated supplier agreements, delivered quality distribution product and service solutions and maintained excellent relationships with airline marketing, sales and distribution personnel. He also has substantive experience in developing pricing models to support contract negotiations with international airlines based in Europe, Latin America, Middle East and Asia Pacific.

Mr. Toothman holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Learning and Development from The University of Texas at Austin, with a Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. Jason and his wife, Vicki, have three boys, ages 21, 17 and 14, and he currently resides in Flower Mound Texas, USA.
