Jeju Air and Travelport sign multi-year extension for content and merchandizing

Seoul, 13 January 2021: Travelport, a leading technology company serving the travel industry, today announced a multi-year renewal of its content agreement with Jeju Air, the country’s largest low-cost airline by both international as well as domestic passengers carried. The agreement also includes the continued use of Travelport’s Rich Content and Branding merchandizing solution.

Under the agreement, Travelport will continue to support Jeju Air by providing more than 68,000 Travelport-connected agencies servicing hundreds of millions of travelers around the world with real-time access to search, sell, and book its content and inventory.

Jeju Air will also continue to be one of some 275 airlines worldwide using Travelport’s Rich Content and Branding merchandizing tool, which gives travel agents a graphically rich experience when searching for and booking its branded fares, as well as greater access to its ancillary offers.

Jeju Air’s international traffic has grown rapidly since it began international services in 2018. As of end 2019, it served over 85 major routes in Asia and carried over 13 million passengers.
