Travelport Delivers avianca’s NDC Content and Servicing on Travelport+

LANGLEY, UK, April 11, 2024: Travelport, a global technology company that powers bookings for hundreds of thousands of travel suppliers worldwide, and avianca, a Latin American multinational airline, headquartered in Colombia and a member of Star Alliance, today announced that NDC content from avianca and enhanced NDC servicing capabilities are now available in the Travelport+ platform. Travelport’s agency customers can easily access the complete avianca NDC solution on Travelport+ through the Travelport API, Smartpoint Cloud and Smartpoint desktop solutions.

Agents using Travelport+ will now be able to easily search, view, compare and book avianca’s NDC content alongside non-NDC fares in a single workflow. Travelport’s NDC solution for avianca also provides retail servicing capabilities, so that agents can seamlessly modify, exchange or cancel NDC bookings for travelers.

Travelport’s NDC content and servicing solution for avianca is now available to all agency customers located in Colombia, the United Kingdom and countries across Europe. Access to the avianca NDC solution in Travelport+ will expand to agency customers located in additional markets in the coming weeks.
