Giving back, with
travelport
cares

Through our Travelport Cares program, we’re sharing their skills, energy, and passion with the world. We give back in three key areas: Community, Education, and Sustainability — letting us make a real difference both locally and globally.
THE TRAVELPORT CARES APPROACH

Education
Travelport is committed to helping underrepresented and disadvantaged people by equipping them for careers in the travel and technology industries. We’re a board member of the Global Travel and Tourism Partnership (GTTP), an international educational program that’s helped over 1.5 million people. We also provide financial aid for charitable organizations who encourage and support people not traditionally involved in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

Community
Our people have a wealth of passion, skills and expertise. We want to help them share it. Travelport offers employees one ‘Make Your Mark Day’ per year to carry out charitable volunteerism.

Sustainability
We’re continuously looking for ways to reduce Travelport’s environmental impact and carbon footprint. At our data center, we regularly audit systems efficiency and customer transaction processes. In our offices, we establish energy consumption baselines and annual goals. And we also help our clients go green through technology solutions that help offset the pollution created through travel.
TRAVELPORT CARES
We established Travelport Cares to encourage corporate and employee involvement with the communities that sustain us. Through the global impact of Travelport’s reach, we believe that our organization and its people can make a difference. Our initiatives include:
- Paid time off to volunteer
- Regional fundraising activities
- Improving our environment through United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs)
- Supporting technology education around the globe

I’m very proud of Travelport’s CSR efforts and our Travelport Cares program. We’re supporting employees’ efforts to give back to their communities all over the world.
