Go-live delivers Royal Jordanian’s NDC content to Travelport-connected agencies, fulfilling commitments made under the partnership agreement signed in October 2025
LONDON, UK, May 29, 2026 - Travelport, a global travel technology company that powers travel bookings for hundreds of thousands of agencies and travelers worldwide, and Royal Jordanian Airlines, the flagship carrier of Jordan, have announced that Royal Jordanian’s NDC content is now live on Travelport+, making the airline’s NDC content available to agencies in all its markets around the globe. The go-live marks the delivering of commitments made when the two companies signed an enhanced NDC distribution agreement in October 2025.
Under the agreement, Travelport-connected agencies can now book Royal Jordanian’s NDC content through Travelport+, including a comprehensive range of fares, ancillaries and rich product information.
Royal Jordanian’s NDC content is available to agencies through both Smartpoint, Travelport’s easy-to-use booking application, and TripServices, Travelport’s modern, cloud-native API platform. Whichever way agencies choose to access the content, they benefit from the same foundation: normalized, curated content across sources, intelligent orchestration and search, and consistent servicing, all from one place.
On May 27, Travelport announced a landmark partnership with Cognizant and Anthropic, bringing together travel technology and enterprise AI to accelerate the intelligence layer across Travelport’s platform.
“We are happy to kick off a new NDC journey with Travelport, adding a new element to our partnership which spans for more than three decades,” said Karim Makhlouf, Chief Commercial Officer at Royal Jordanian. “Travelport has consistently shown they understand our business and are committed to supporting our commercial ambitions.
This go-live is a significant step in our digital transformation. By making our NDC content available to Travelport-connected agencies, we are able to deliver a far richer experience for both agents and their customers.
Karim Makhlouf | Chief Commercial Officer at Royal Jordanian
"This go-live is a proud moment for Travelport and for Royal Jordanian," said Damian Hickey, Global Vice President and Global Head of Air Partners at Travelport. “Agencies across all of Royal Jordanian’s BSP-activated markets can now access their NDC content through Travelport+, and we’re proud to have delivered on that commitment together.”
“This go-live is a testament to the depth of our partnership and the trust Royal Jordanian has placed in us,” added Alexis Guest, Travelport’s VP for Global Operators. “We’re proud to support Royal Jordanian in this next stage of their retailing evolution.”
